This place is a local bar, just down the road from UNCC. They have amazing sandwiches, and a lot of them... Haven't found one I dislike yet. Their prices are reasonable, and the establishment in good repair. Their weak spot is the service. It's hit and miss. Consistently tolerable, you could say. It's not BAD, but it's not GOOD, either. I mean, I'm almost a regular, so it can't be THAT bad... but it could be better.

This is a great lunch spot with so much variety for sandwiches... I mean it's almost too many to choose from! But their sandwiches are delicious and always too much to eat in one sitting.

Although a little late for lunch and early for dinner the server was very nice and kept us informed. The sandwiches were great. Not a fast food place but a good place to converse and enjoy a meal.

It's ambience is like 90's has taken a rebirth and you can find all sorts of pictures, quotes, showpieces, etc. related to famous personalities. It has an expansive Menu mainly focused on Sandwiches and Burgers. Salads are also available with many options available. I love the ambience and the Quesadillas are worth trying. One such kind of restaurant in the University area.

The food is always really good. Huge menu of different sandwiches, burgers, salads and more. Restaurant is always clean. Hit or miss with the service. Would recommend.

Took my 3 year old daughter & she was happy so that was all that mattered to me AND she is a VERY VERY picky person when it comes to food & especially people around her. She doesn't do bad vibes.

There are more sandwich options here than the rest of the world combined. Burgers and other options are listed as well so anyone can find something here. There are food and drink specials every day and friendly staff to help you. All reasonable prices for everything too so feel free to indulge in some dessert and the end. Very cool decor is fun to look at.

Food was amazing , everything was perfect. The only reason im giving a 4 star and not a 5 is the service. Restaurant wasn't that busy but the staffed was lacking. Had to wait on refill for 10 minutes and my son asked for a knife and we had to ask twice before getting it. We also had to ask for to go box more than once.

The Boomer Burger is no joke. I have been staring at the effigy Roy Acuff for 2 minutes, taunting me. His record still. My mouth on fire. And no man should ever have to endure the pain I have experienced. But if you survive the trial by burger, your reward will be a new lease on life. Can't wait to come back!
